One of my most successful collaboration was with the great fashion photographer Marko Sovilj. The editorial 14122099 was very challenging to make , but also to fun to not succeed. We made it for Serbian Fashion Magazine Faar, but we made a more of it.
I remmember it was the end of November and we were shooting at open old Olimpic pool. The team was in their winter clothes, wraped in scarves, with hats and gloves but the models wore TATA's SS10. Crazy, right? Some TV crew show up to filming us and I remember that the producer said to me "Tatjana Tatalovic and Marko Sovilj will burn in hell for letting those models to be almost naked on these weather". Yeah we were aware of it, but to create something amazing, long lasting, was stronger than anything else. On the winter wind adrenalin went so high.
The hair stylist Djuka Ivanovic created those unforgetable hair extensions in the dressing room of the pool . Ana Acimovic makeup artist arrived from commercial filming without sleeping previous night and pull out the cyber makeup that any makeup artist would envy her. Everything was looking great and yeah we were on scene, all long day, without complaining.
The whole team was working hard, there were a lot of frends and collegue who were helping. I realy need to thank them once again for their support and the fact that they took a part of this beautyful creation. The arhitect Milos Milojevic was working as set designer. Marko's friends were around if we needed anything and his Mom made the snacks to keep us strong. I had my girls Tijana Rasic(Hip Hop Star) and Elena Dusej(Head designer of Rain)who unselfishly jumped in to help. Scientist Boris Petrovic was also interested in our project and documented all day with his camer.
The point was, we made beautiful fashion editorial through which we tryed to drow attencion on global warming and human evolution in new climates. Are we going to survive and evolute as tuskless Mozabique elefants? Or we will disappear?
